The 17th Annual Workshop on Recent Developments in Electronic
Structure Methods will be held on the Ithaca campus of
Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, The workshop will begin with a welcoming reception on the evening
of Thursday June 23rd, Thursday. The scientific program will run from
Friday morning June 24 until lunchtime on Sunday June 26. There will
be a conference banquet on Saturday evening, June 25 in the Statler Hotel on Cornell
Campus.
There will also be an optional
minicourse, taught by Professor Tomás Arias after the
workshop. There will be an additional fee of $68 for this, which will cover
the extra accommodation but not the extra meals.
Ithaca is served by the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport (10 minute drive away
from Cornell Campus -- USAir and Northwest both fly to Ithaca) and Syracuse Hancock
International Airport (larger but a 75-minute drive away and possibly
involves considerable wait for a shuttle). Please follow the directions link for travel options.
Registration for the ES05 workshop will begin on May 5, 2005. The early
registration deadline is June 12. After this deadline the registration fee
may go up by $50. Abstract submission deadline is June 17.
